في ذهن الفتاة نتيجة بعض التجارب الفاشلة في بيئتها؛ لذلك فإن مهمة الأم هنا هي التمهيد لليلة الزفاف بأن تزيل هذه التراكمات من عقل ابنتها والتوضيح لها بأن الأمر أسهل مما تظن .. إذن غشاء البكارة رقيق وقابل للتمزق بسهولة عند الكثير من الفتيات، خاصة إذا ساعدت الزوجة زوجها بالاسترخاء الكامل وعدم شد القسم السفلي من الجسم؛ لأن هذا الشد يؤدي أحيانا إلى توتر الزوج، وهو ما يجعله يشعر بالحرج، وبالتالي إلى ضعف الانتصاب، وأحيانا أخرى يقوم الزوج بحركات خاطئة فبدلا من أن يمزق غشاء البكارة يتمزق جدار المهبل الخلفي أو الجانبي، وفي هذه الحالة يستمر النزف، وقد تتحول ليلة الزفاف إلى ليلة إسعاف؛ كل ذلك بسبب خوف الزوجة وجهل الزوج. .
ولا شك أن العلاقة الزوجية يجب أن تعتمد على المبدأ الإنساني قبل كل شيء فلا يقرب الزوج زوجته بغاية أن يستمتع بها دون أن يفكر بأن من حقها
الاستمتاع أيضا، لذلك فعلى الزوج أن يتحلى بالصبر والرقة وحسن الإدراك ليلة الزفاف؛ فقبل الزفاف هناك الكلمة والقبلة واللمسة –وهذا حق للعاقدين على الأقل- وفي ليلة الزفاف تكون الممهدات والمداعبات بحيث يساعد العريس عروسه على إزالة التوتر في حال إذا كانت ليلة الزفاف مرافقة للعقد… وعلى الشاب الذي سبق له واطلع على شيء من فنون الجنس ألا يتوقع أن يرى من عروسه من أول مرة تلك الفنون التي يتخيلها، وكذلك عليه ألا يظن بها الظنون إذا رأى أنها قد تعرف شيئا لا يعرفه هو؛ فالجنس فطرة وغريزة قد تكون نامية عند البعض أكثر من البعض الآخر، ورغم أن الحياء شعبة من الإيمان فإنه مستحب في المرأة أكثر من الرجل ليلة الزفاف –وفي غيرها- لكن لا يعني هذا أن المرأة إذا أظهرت رغبتها فإن معنى ذلك أن لها تجربة سابقة، فربما كان حبها لخطيبها دافعًا أن تتوق له جنسيا
